"I wove fabric from 1975 - 1982, and received an apprenticeship degree from Potomac Craftsmen Handweavers Guild, in Washington, DC. I abruptly stopped when my husband took over my loom. I began weaving baskets in the fall of 1982 and continued weaving, designing, teaching classes and entering both retail and wholesale shows until 1992."
